Let Us Introduce Ourselves!

Grace Place Learning Center (GPLC) opened as a ministry of Schertz United Methodist Church (SUMC) in August of 2012 to serve families with children 6 weeks through Pre-K.

We believe that every child is a child of God and a unique individual. The purpose of Grace Place Learning Center is to provide a Christian environment with a variety of developmentally appropriate opportunities for children to grow physically, intellectually, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. We strive to help each child develop a strong sense of self and his/her place in God’s world.

Grace Place Learning Center operates under Texas Administrative Code 745.117(3) and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.

Grace Place is located behind the main church campus, with parking entry off Green Valley Rd.

An Extraordinary Preschool

Excellent Staff

Our Grace Place Learning Center (GPLC) staff members are trained in early childhood care, and participate in various childcare education classes. The GPLC staff maintains CPR and First Aid certification. Classroom staff/child ratios meet requirements of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. Background checks are conducted before any GPLC staff member is employed, including substitutes.

Introduce the community to Schertz United Methodist Church and its various ministries available to families and individuals.
